Trip to Normandy

✨ Our Year 6 pupils explored Normandy, following in the footsteps of history.

For six days, they stayed by the sea in the heart of the famous port of Arromanches and deepened their knowledge of the Second World War through numerous visits, including the Caen Memorial Museum, the Arromanches 360° Cinema, the German battery at Longues-sur-Mer, the American Cemetery at Omaha Beach, and the German Cemetery at La Cambe.

They also discovered iconic sites such as Mont-Saint-Michel and the Abbaye aux Dames in Caen. 🌊🏰

As for activities, our pupils took advantage of the Normandy coastline to try shore fishing and land sailing. 🌬️⛵

An unforgettable experience that will remain in their memories for year to come!
