Our story

EIFA opened its doors in January 2013. The vision was of a bilingual school, but one that would creatively combine the French and the English curricula.

Truly bilingual in every aspect, from the start right up to Year 9, EIFA is unique in its scope, its ambition and its relevance to today’s global child.

EIFA owes its wonderful school building to the vision and commitment of the Howard de Walden Estate. We are situated at 36 Portland Place, a wonderful period property and a wonderful environment for teaching and learning.

EIFA A busy street intersection in a city with a historic brick building and trees on one side. Pedestrians and cyclists, possibly from the nearby bilingual EIFA school, are visible, and cars are stopped at the traffic lights. A tall communication tower rises in the background under a partly cloudy sky.
