🎙️ Radio London: Bringing History to Life!

During their trip to Normandy, our Year 6 pupils recorded a podcast inspired by what they had discovered while visiting the D-Day landing sites.

Working in pairs, they imagined and wrote interviews featuring different characters from the time: an American soldier, a member of the French Resistance, a military doctor, and more. It was a creative and engaging way to revisit history and bring to life the knowledge they had gained both in the classroom and throughout the trip.

Naturally bilingual, in keeping with the DNA of our school, this project gave our pupils the opportunity to use both their French and English language skills while developing their creativity and confidence in spoken communication. 🎧✨
