Pre-Nursery (Toute Petite Section)

For children aged 2 to 3

Our Pre-Nursery / Toute Petite Section (TPS) is a class designed for our youngest learners from 2 years old. At EIFA, we believe that the Early Years set the stage for a lifelong love of learning.  Our bilingual setting provides a warm, caring and stimulating environment where children can begin their educational journey through play, discovery and gentle guidance. We recognise that children learn best through hands-on experiences, movement, and social interactions. Our tailored programme provides a solid foundation for future learning, and our teaching is centered around:

  • A Bilingual Foundation

    Early exposure to both French and English in a natural, immersive setting, with qualified staff and native speakers helping children develop confidence in both languages. 

  • Communication and Languages

    Engaging activities in both languages help children build their vocabulary and express themselves confidently.

  • A Rich Curriculum 

    Our curriculum includes activities that encourage creativity, curiosity, and early cognitive development through art, music storytelling, role play, and sensory exploration.  Children are given daily opportunities to explore their imagination and develop their fine and gross motor skills, both inside and outside the classroom.  These include Yoga, Physical Education and Music lessons, delivered by specialist teachers. 

  • Social and Emotional Development

    We focus on building independence, cooperation, and self-confidence through positive interactions with peers and teachers.

  • Personalised Attention

    With small class sizes, each child receives the care and support needed to thrive at their own pace. 

  • Chilcare Funding

    The school is registered for universal 15 hours free childcare with the Government for 2-year-olds, for eligible families.
