🏛️ RIBA Workshop: Greek Architecture Meets London 🇬🇷➡️🇬🇧
Our Y3 to Y9 pupils recently took part in an inspiring RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) workshop exploring Greek architecture and how its principles can still be found in the buildings around us here in London.
From iconic Greek temples to columns, symmetry, and proportions in our own neighbourhood, pupils discovered how ancient ideas continue to shape modern architecture.
The workshop was brilliantly led by Sophie Draper, who runs the educational programmes at RIBA. Thank you, Sophie, for such an engaging and thought-provoking session!
A wonderful opportunity for our pupils to connect history, design, and the built environment around them 🏙️📐
