As part of EIFA’s commitment to supporting the local community, we recently launched a school-wide food drive in partnership with Food Bank Aid.
On April 30th, a representative from the charity visited our school to raise awareness about food insecurity, which affects 22,000 people weekly—5,000 of them children—across North London.
On May 7th, some pupils visited the charity’s hub to deliver the generous donations from our community. They learned about volunteering, saw how items are sorted and distributed, and gained insight into the physical effort and dedication behind food aid.
Our community made a meaningful contribution to families in need, while our pupils gained valuable lessons in compassion and social responsibility.
