Trip to Venice

In May, our Middle School pupils enjoyed an unforgettable trip to Venice and Verona, exploring Italy’s rich culture, art, and history.
In Venice, they admired the timeless scenes painted by Canaletto, visited the Ca’ Pesaro Museum to see works by Rodin, Klimt, and Lichtenstein, and took part in a fun Venetian mask-making workshop. They also explored the Galleria dell’Accademia.
In Verona, pupils followed in the footsteps of Romeo and Juliet, learning about historic family rivalries, and visited the impressive Roman Arena, still used for concerts and events today.
The boys showed their support to the local Football Club: Hellas Verona.
The trip was a fantastic mix of discovery, creativity, and appreciation for Italy’s artistic and literary treasures.
