Nine of our iGCSE and I.B. students, accompanied by teachers Mrs. Connie Pollard and
Mr. Cameron MacDonald participated in the 5th annual Model European Parliament
hosted by the Lycée Français in Palma de Mallorca. It was an incredible experience; each
pupils had been assigned to play the role of a real life MEP and came to the conference
prepared with draft legislative proposals and position papers.
They learned a great deal and conducted themselves with composure and enthusiasm in
a busy and high pressure environment. Such a great trip; looking forward to EIFA pupils
representatives returning to the beautiful Mediterranean sun and surf next December!
